VENUE will provide the facilities and services described in this contract for 90 minutes on 08/30/2020.  The CLIENT understands the package they are purchasing has a time limit of said 90 minutes, in which a timeline created by their wedding planner will be enforced to keep the event on schedule. The CLIENT agrees to follow the timeline regardless of guests that may arrive late, or for any other reason. The event will begin promptly at their selected time slot and end 90 minutes after so the vendors can clean up and prepare for the next event.

VENUE.   The VENUE will provide:

  • Choice of your signature cocktail with house wine and beer, with non-alcoholic drinks
  • Special menu of hors d’oeuvre you will have your choice of

All other services, facilities and arrangements for the Micro Event package are already arranged and managed through a separate agreement with BRIW and the affiliate vendors. The CLIENT understands that the Micro Event packages are not a substitution for an existing booking with the Venue, and that no refunds will be given by the Venue in the event the CLIENT cancels their existing booking.

DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT AGREEMENTS  The total cost for the micro event package and its facilities described in this contract is $4,300 plus New York state sales tax payable to BRIW. BRIW shall retain the sum of $300 for its service(s) provided herein, and shall distribute the remaining balance to VENUE,  and AFFILIATE VENDORS as agreed to in the within agreement. To reserve services on the date requested, BRIW requires this contract be signed by all parties and an initial non-refundable retainer of $300.00. Two electronic invoices will be sent to the CLIENT upon receipt of retainer, contract and intake form for the first payment and balance due. The first payment of $850 plus tax will be due sixty (60) days in advance of the event. Payment of the remaining balance plus tax is due by thirty (30) days in advance of the event.  Retainers will be made electronically via PayPal to reserve the date and time slot, and remaining payments will be collected via electronic invoice emailed to the contact provided.  A digital receipt will be provided for each.  Upon receipt of the funds, BRIW will then immediately deliver the remainder of the funds to the Venue and Affiilate Vendors.  BRIW does not retain or hold back any funds other than the sum received for the services herein.

In the event that either remaining payments for the micro event are not paid on time, the retainer will remain non-refundable no matter the reason. There will be a 3 day grace period for any late payments. If payments are submitted past the 3 day grace period, CLIENT will then be liable for a late fee of 10% of the total cost of the micro event. Many of the vendors need to pay for materials and third-party orders, and if the payments are not collected on time this will impact the overall event, requiring rush fees and expedited shipping. If the payment is not made after the 3 day grace period, the micro event shall be canceled and BRIW shall have the right to cancel the contract.

NO SUBSTITUTIONS The CLIENT understands that they are purchasing a curated package as outlined in this agreement. The CLIENT may not make any substitutions for services or products. The CLIENT may not make any customizations beyond what each vendor offers in their own right.  

The Parties understand and agree that the Micro Event constitutes an entire package of services.  As such, following the execution of the within contract, there will be no substitutions, deletions, additions or modifications of this agreement without the prior written consent of all parties involved.  Additionally, the CLIENT shall not be entitled or a refund, rebate or discount of the cost identified above for the declination or refusal by any party of this contract to substitute, delete, add, or modify any portion of the Micro Event.  

CANCELLATION POLICY   In the unlikely event the CLIENT should cancel all retainers are nonrefundable.  In the event of a cancellation due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, another date will be selected.  BRIW shall have the right to terminate this contract if the CLIENT fails to meet or violates any terms of the contract, in which case the provisions of this cancellation policy also apply.  The CLIENT shall not assign or sub-lease any terms, conditions or services contained in this contract or any interest therein.

NUMBER OF ATTENDEES Given the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, CLIENT understands and agrees that the number of attendees at the Micro Event is not guaranteed herein.  In order to comply with ongoing State, Federal, and Local laws, statutes, regulations, rules and orders, it may be necessary that less than 30 persons may be permitted to enter the venue.  This may also include only the Couple being permitted to attend the event.  CLIENT further understands and agrees that the number of attendees does not affect the price paid by CLIENT herein, and that no refund, rebate, or discount will be provided to CLIENT based upon the number of attendees permitted to enter the Venue.   CLIENT shall not be permitted to change the date of the Micro Event should the number of persons at the event be less than 30 persons.   Should CLIENT have selected Package #2 herein, and the number of permitted attendees be reduced to only the couple themselves, the Parties agree that the event will be converted to Package #1, and the CLIENT will not be charged the difference. These changes must be agreed upon by The CLIENT and The Venue no less than 2 weeks prior to the event.
